I really want a slow cooker. People keep telling me they're so easy to use: "Just through some meat and veggies in and let them cook all day. Dinner is served!" Is this true?

My husband's favorite food is pork, any way you fix it. For his birthday dinner we always have to have either porkchops or preferably a pork roast. That and banana cream pie.

slow cookers are a life saver. Yes it is that easy. I just placed the pork in covered it in sauce and left it on low for 5 hours. That's it. There are some great slowcooker cookbooks, and I have several recipes. If you want them let me know! They make a great roast also, and just toss in veggies too...yum!
