Yesterday I was looking forward to an afternoon of blogging while Jax took his nap. First I had a dental appointment to get out of the way. I hate going to the dentist. Mainly because of a bad experience I had as a child. I broke a tooth over our fun weekend, so going to the dentist was a must. I was so nervous that I locked myself, and Jaxson, out of the house! You can imagine the panic. My hubby has the only other key and he is 30 minutes away working downtown, I cannot get the windows open and I only have 3 diapers for the whole day......
I went to a neighbors and my mother was able to come and rescue us! Before she got there Jaxson managed to get pricked by the cactus in the neighbors windowsill, open all the cabinets in the kitchen and refused to come out from under the coffee table. Sigh.... Mom took me to the dentist and entertained Jax while I was being examined. i am not sure how we would have managed without her help there! Afterwards we just hung out at her place until Isabella got out of school. Then headed for hubby at 5. It made for a long day, but it turned out okay.

Oh gosh, I can identify. I locked my oldest (now 21) in the car two or three times when he was a baby and had to be rescued, once by the police. We were living in Portland, OR at that time so the cops were a big deal. I felt like mother of the year, I'll tell you. Sounds like Jaxon is acting his age! Glad you all survived the day.
Don't you hate it when stuff like that happens? Buddy once shut the car door before I'd had time to grab the keys. We were locked out and I had to call my mother-in-law to come and rescue us.
