I've had fun looking at your recent road trip pictures. I have traveled in Oklahoma and Texas and recognize some of the sights. I also know the challenges of keeping little ones entertained on a lengthy journey.
My mom made meatballs when we were growing up. She served hers in a mushroom sauce over rice. They were yummo.
I didn't know you could bake meatballs! I don't know why I never thought of trying that. My mom always made them on the top of the stove, which I have given up trying... I simply can't make them that way. I'll have to give this a try! Thanks!
I am a stay-at-home mom and I enjoy it! I love to cook and I am always trying new recipes. I have two great kids. They are fantastic entertainment and both have a wonderful sense of humor! I also have a blog called LoveandMarriage. It has been so fun meeting other moms and women to share with. Kid stories, recipes, just sharing life, what could be more fun!

They were surprisingly good the whole trip, but maybe not so surprising, they are good kids.
the meatballs with mushroom sauce, sounds yummy!
I stand over the stove cooking meatball in the pan a few at a time. I never thought to put them in a baking dish in the oven!
I like baking them at 400 degress for 15-18 minutes. It's less messy! I hate frying bacon too.
