Hi Sara Lynn! Chicken spareribs? Do you have a recipe here on your site? I'll have to check it out.
I love "Love Actually" too. I've watched it so many times with my bloke :)
I might do this one on my Monday Meme. It was fun!
Cookware shops! I love 'em. Really good kitchen knives are probably the very best buy - and one I'd invest in even if I only had a single hob to cook on.
I'm looking forward to the day when I'm making less use of the hand blender... how much pureed carrot have I got to make?
There aren't many gadgets we don't use. Most dangerous is probably the mandolin - I prefer to be careful with a good knife rather than use that.
I was pretty staggered to see a bagel cutter guide in a shop in Canterbury last weekend. Glad I don't have one of these in my kitchen, people might think I was in Gillian of Radlett's mad club;).

Hi Sara--I finally posted on the book meme on my blog page. Sorry it took so long. Hope your weekend is enjoyable.
"What is your favourite thing to clean?"
hun? What a strange question. At least to my mind... But then, I hate to clean. I only do it because it would be yucky not to.
This is a great meme. Since I have been sick and unable to post any new recipes, a meme seemed like a great way to let readers know I am not dead so I did consider myself tagged by you. Thanks for the invite. And I am with you on the pasta maker--I thought I would get one with Christmas money and could not believe how expensive they were!
