Off of this list, I have only been to New York. This summer I will get to add Las Vegas.
Whoo-Hoo!! I would love to visit Rome or Barcelona. Have you been to these cities? What are the best places to eat?

That's interesting. I've only been to NYC. We did art galleries instead of restaurants... So no recommendations.

Hi. I've stumbled across your blog via the Reluctant Housewife. I hope you don't mind me giving you a couple of recommendations for Barcelona.

We took Time Out's Barcelona Eating & Drinking guide. We kept a note of the places we went to so that we could find the good ones again. After a weekend of checking out a number of great places, these were the stand out tapas bars:

El Vaso de Oro, c/Balboa 6. This is down by the port. Looks like a bar on a cruise liner - long and narrow with v.smart bar staff. Great place for a drink. Really great morcilla sausages (but avoid the tripe!).

La Vinateria del Call, c/Sant Domenec del Call 9. This restaurant is tucked away down some very small streets, but it's excellent - so keep looking for it. Lovely for hams and cheeses - oh and a bottle of red too.

And when you are looking for somewhere to stay - try to make sure it's at Hotel Neri. (www.hotelneri.com)

Hope you don't mind me dropping in on you - you've got a few ideas about children's food that I'll be trying out in a year or two.
