I couldn't resist posting about the Daddy-Daughter dance. Our town puts on the dance every year before Valentine's day. The tickets always sell quickly! My daughter loves getting a new dress and shoes. We spend the day shopping and snacking. But she really enjoys showing up to the party with her Dad. My husband is acutely aware that these days are special because there will soon come a day when a night out with dad is just not "cool". I tend to hope that is not the case and she will still enjoy her parent's company no matter how old or cool she gets!
But here they are, a moment suspended in time with a photograph.
