On The Off Chance I Blow Away...

There is a major storm headed directly for us. It should hit in 30 minutes.
Rain, hail, strong winds and possible tornadoes....lovely.
I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed you all (yes, I am dramatic)

Seriously though, there is a good chance we will lose power, so just in case, I will post again when I can!

Good Night Blogland!!

****UPDATE: WE ARE FINE, JUST VERY WET! WE ARE UNDER FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS AND THE RAIN IS STILL COMING DOWN. IT SHOULD GO AWAY SOON! WE HAD HAIL THE SIZE OF A GOLF BALL. I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BREAK THE KITCHEN WINDOWS!! HUBBY KNEW I WOULD WANT TO SHOW MY BLOGGING FRIENDS, SO HE WENT OUT IN IT (WITH AN UMBRELLA) TO GATHER SEVERAL PIECES! WE PUT THEM NEXT TO ONE OF HIS GOLF BALLS FOR COMPARISON.

Oh dear, you did get hit! We had lots of thunder and lightning starting around 11:30 p.m., and which kept me awake for awhile. No hail in town, although I know it hailed close by. Ah, spring on the plains!

What a guy. So sweet of you too to let him go out in the golf ball sized hail. It had stopped, right?

Glad to hear you are all okay.

No, it hadn't stopped...hehe...I had never seen hail that big! He went out in it, with an umbrella and lined them up under the porch covering to get a picture...he is a good guy!

Wow Sara, that's impressive. We don't get hail here something about upcurrents and ocean air... i don't know why... We get ice storms though that make everything look like it's covered in diamonds.

What an exciting blog! am glad I only read it today and had already seen the later blog. I am always nervous with these storms. Thank goodness you are well and thank you for your husband for the pictures. Can I say that is sweet without insulting?

Thank you all for your comments! I have given hubby much thanks for his bravery. Apparently the big hail had stopped (it would have torn up his umbrella if it hadn't) so there wasn;'t any real danger (i am not that mean!!!)

And no, it is not insulting to hear someone thinks hubby is sweet. He is sweet, it's just a fact :)

Oh and that is the first time I have ever seen hail that big. We usually only have pea sized to dime sized hail in Spring storms.
Tonight is forcasted to be another scary night! Yikes I hate that!
