A few of my favorite things (in the kitchen)

My favorite cooking wines, sherry, vinegar and oil.

and my spice cabinet. Sorry you can't see the names very well (flash from the camera) I love having so many spices to choose from :)
The spices and herbs I use the most? curry powder, garlic powder, parsley flakes, basil, oregano, thyme and rosemary

What are your favorites??

My favourite spices are basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, fresh ginger, and fresh garlic. I use olive oil. I don't like vinegar much so I don't often use it.

I love mashing up cardomom, chilli, turmeric, ginger, garlic, cumin and paprika for curries.

Smoked paprika in a tomato sauce is great with chicken and chorizo.

I probably have more cooking wines (and other spirits I use for cooking) and flavored vinegars than anything else. My favorite herbs and spices are rosemary, basil, thyme, fresh cilantro, various chili powders, nutmeg, and garlic.

I still need to post a photo of what's in my kitchen! Maybe this weekend.

I love trying new spices. The only I don't like, so far, is cilantro. And I am learning to like it. My hand reaches most often for pepper, oregan, ground chili peppers, (is salt considered a spice?), cinnamon, garlic powder, (fresh garlic also but that isn't a spice is it?) and various curry mixes.
