Chicken Pita and Cucumber Sauce?? My favorite!

I love the cucumber sauce recipe I received from my sister-in-law. It is truly scrumptious!
One yummy cucumber and red onion, waiting to be grated (the onion has a funny reflection on it from the grater..hehe)

All grated and ready to be made into fabulous sauce!

I needed a little help from my guy. He loves being in the kitchen while I cook :)
(lol..he has "bed head" from naptime)

Yummy! Chicken Pitas with avocado, tomato and cucumber slices. SunChips Garden Salsa Chips and a side salad. Top your pita with some sauce and poof! Your in a food wonderland!

Cucumber Sauce
1 medium cucumber, grated
1/4 cup red onion, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon (or less) cumin
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 - 3/4 cup of sour cream (or plain yogurt)
Mix all ingredients together and let sit in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

A great idea for a quick easy dinner after work! I could use that 30 minute resting time to catch up on other things! :)

P.S. I LOVE cumin!
