Southern Dinner



Sunday was a wonderful day! Cool Breeze, family and chicken fried steak!
I always pound the cube steaks with a mallet to make sure they will be tender. Dip them in egg and roll them in seasoned flour. (Flour seasoned with salt and pepper.)
Then fry in hot oil. I always serve it with mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and of course gravy!

Next to my grandma, you're the best comfort food cook I know. There's nothing tastier than chicken fried steak!

This is one of my favorite meals! Having grown up in the south, I ate this one a lot. :-)
